Hi, I'm  Steph...

Nice to meet you! I am a Certified Holistic Health Coach that was once in your shoes. I myself have experienced and healed crushing anxiety, mild-moderate depression, severe digestive issues, severe brain fog and a seemingly endless stream of health “mysteries” such as Eczema, Perioral Dermatitis, skin rashes and Chronic Fatigue. Over the years, I learned that all of these markers of poor health could be traced back to what was going on in my Gut. Not only have I experienced this myself, I have also seen SO MANY other people struggling with their Health - many of which do not have access to the care they really need to heal. I felt called to do something about this. So here I am, ready to help you Flourish!


The Long Version....

I grew up on a farm in a small town farming community in the upper Midwest and I love everything Nature.

So what brought me here? 

Well, here it goes…

I spent 12 years working as a Dental Hygienist and over those years I observed thousands of mouths, medical histories and the overall presentation of thousands of people. You can learn a lot about a person's gut and overall health by looking in their mouth. The mouth is the entrance of the digestive system, after all.

What was unique about my experience is that I was in a position where I was seeing many of these people every 3, 4 or 6 months over a period of years.

I witnessed people swing from health into illness and others from illness to health. I saw some people aging faster than others. I saw some people go from poor health to even poorer health. I saw others go from very poor health to almost miraculously improved health. I witnessed people lose their memory capacity. I watched people develop Cancer.

The number one thing I witnessed that was the most shocking and concerning to me was the fact that around 80%  or more of the people I saw had Chronic Systemic Inflammation. (If you're not sure what that means, Inflammation is the body's response to an injury or threat and is the cause of all chronic disease. When it is “systemic”, it is widespread throughout the body.) 

The absolute most heart breaking thing for me to witness was all of the children I saw who were in poor health - mentally/behaviorally and physically. 

During my time in the dental industry, I also fell on very hard times with my own health. This was induced by the stress, a dysbiotic and leaky gut, undiagnosed food intolerances and a few rounds of antibiotics that were an attempt to knock out a stubborn kidney infection I had developed due to my dysbiosis-induced weakened immune system. As you likely know, those antibiotics only made my health MUCH worse.

I REALLY don’t like feeling sick and I will do ANYTHING to get out of that state. 

Over those years I was a fierce observer of not only others' experience, but of my own experience. Why is everyone so sick? Why am I so sick? I connected dots, I did a lot of self study and I attended continuing education courses on Inflammation. I became a Certified Holistic Health Coach, feeling called to take action on what I was witnessing.

Eventually, I reached a point where everything came full circle for me. All of the questions I had about health all of my life were answered.

I wanted to scream what I had learned from the rooftops! But that didn’t go very well.

What I’ve witnessed and learned through my own experience, observing the health of others and becoming a Holistic Health Coach has resulted in my creation of Live Clean and Flourish.

I want to make this healing information more accessible for people, bridge gaps, bring clarity in times of confusion and encourage people to take back power over their health so they can HEAL and BE WELL for the rest of their lives.
 
The future of humanity, our babies, the Earth and all of its inhabitants depends on it.
I don’t say that to scare tactic you.
It’s the honest truth.

The People have the power and We are the People. We can turn our health around for ourselves, our children, our loved ones and the Earth!

Big change can occur when numbers are involved.
